Key Environmental Benefits

The use of LED lights will reduce the environmental damage that kerosene lighting
creates. Using an LED light compared to a kerosene lamp saves one ton of carbon
emissions over 3-4 years, which equates to US$ 30 of gold standard carbon credits.
Therefore 10 million LED lights would save 10 million tons of carbon emissions,
which would equate to US$ 300 million.
