Development
Activities: Children's Science Project
THRIVE being
located in the block head quarters of a predominantly tribal
region is centrally accessible by nearly 25 high schools in the
region. Each of these schools house around 500 to 750 students
from 5th to 10th classes.

The science habit
and the teaching methods and the available equipment are very
few or non existent in the schools near by. The children there
by are denied of the access to the science and technology as it
relates to the modern inventions and applications.
THRIVE is
developing a science and technology center where in the best of
the equipments in optics, laser, lighting, astronomy, GIS,
robotics, computing, communications is made available to the
students who visit the center one day a year and get to
familiarize with the equipment, demonstration, hands on
development and playing with most of the digital microscopes,
audio video equipment, GIS based telescopes, robotics and other
host of technology development tools.
